Accessibility Statement
Accessibility goals, tested scope and remaining limitations.
Goal and approach
Simpyll targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA through semantic structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus, readable contrast, responsive layouts and reduced-motion support. Automated tests do not establish complete conformance; no full conformance claim is made.
Documented testing
The repository accessibility record documents axe checks, keyboard and route navigation, theme behavior, text-spacing and reflow automation on Linux. Recorded CI run 40135762399 passed its browser gate with 476 passes and six existing isolated-fixture skips; separate fixture gates passed. It installed Chromium, Firefox and WebKit, with desktop and Pixel 7 Chromium contexts. Engine installation alone is not evidence that every scenario ran in each engine. This historical result does not certify subsequent changes.
Known limitations
Manual NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack testing, physical-device touch and virtual-keyboard checks, actual 200%/400% browser zoom and human visual/motion review remain pending in issue #43. Mobile emulation and text enlargement are not equivalent to real-device or assistive-technology validation. The current audit ledger is linked below.
Feedback and follow-up
For non-sensitive accessibility problems, use the page-specific GitHub contribution link, describing the URL, browser, device, assistive technology if applicable, and the blocked task. Do not submit personal health information. Feedback can be triaged through repository issues, with fixes and retests recorded there; no response deadline is promised. A verified private and non-GitHub channel remains an owner decision and blocks final approval of this statement.
Supporting information: GitHub privacy statement, accessibility audit, and data inventory and review decisions. Do not post private requests or vulnerabilities in public issues. A private security reporting channel has not yet been verified.
