Editorial Standards & AI Disclosure

Research, learning in public, AI assistance and corrections.

Mission and scope

Simpyll documents practical engineering, technology, healthcare perspectives and learning in public. Personal experience and experiments should be distinguished from established evidence. These draft standards propose a maintainable approach; they are not proof of a formal review process for every existing article.

Research and verification

Sources should support the claim, favor original documentation and primary research where practical, and be checked for currency and context. References allow readers to investigate further. No formal peer review or independent clinical review is claimed. Existing articles may differ in sourcing depth; report unsupported or outdated claims.

AI assistance

AI tools may assist with brainstorming, organizing research, drafting, editing, coding, debugging and testing. AI output can be incorrect or omit context. Assistance is distinct from independent human verification, source checking and executable tests. This page does not claim that every statement or code change has been personally verified. The owner must confirm the precise editorial workflow and any article-specific disclosures before approval. No visitor-facing AI service was found in the inspected application.

Corrections and contributions

Use the contextual GitHub link below each page to suggest a correction. Report factual errors, broken links, outdated guidance, clinical inaccuracies or software defects with the public page URL and evidence. Some article links open a correction issue because Notion is their editorial source; accepted corrections must be applied there before synchronization. Public reports require a GitHub account. Review and response times are not guaranteed; a non-GitHub feedback method remains unresolved.

Publication and updates

Article publication dates identify original publication and should not be treated as a clinical review date. Substantive corrections should be explained and distinguished from original publication. Consistent article update metadata remains follow-up work in issue #62. Policy drafts carry a separate review date; Git history records source changes.

Material interests

No sponsorship or affiliate arrangement was established by the source audit. This is not verification of the owner’s off-site relationships. The owner must confirm material interests. If present or introduced, sponsorships and affiliate relationships should be disclosed clearly beside the relevant content or links, as well as reflected in these standards.

Supporting information: GitHub privacy statement, accessibility audit, and data inventory and review decisions. Do not post private requests or vulnerabilities in public issues. A private security reporting channel has not yet been verified.
